What I was hoping for an easy-to-understand reference about accounting, but this is a rudimentary set of information that you have to read beginning-to-end to make any sense out of. She is new to the subject, while I have a degree in accounting. The lemonade approach is fascinating, however, it was poorly executed. The authors do not seem comfortable with the subject, and present accounting in a twisted and unintuitive way. I have trouble making myself read the book, because I just want to bang my head on the wall. I felt I wasn’t learning anything. The jokes and the repetitions of sentences really waste my time. An example of this would be:
